The topic for this week is the “Star Wars: X-Wing” book series. (Yes your honor, I plead guilty, I saw it on fandomsecrets.) To quote Wookieepedia, it was meant to be “Star Wars meets Top Gun”. Judging from the upcoming Star Wars: Rogue Squadron movie, there is still more than enough interest in that concept! What are your thoughts? Space pilots yes? Space pilots no?

This week, the topic is “Star Wars: The New Jedi Order”, the now-Legends book series covering the original next generation of the main SW trio.
19 books (+ some novellas and short stories), 12 authors, tie-ins with other media - this thing is HUGE. It was published between 1999 and 2003, e.g. during the same time the Prequel Trilogy was screened (1999, 2002 and 2005).
So… what do you think? Love it? Hate it? Don’t care? Missed its existence?

For this week’s Legends topic, lets do Timothy Zahn’s “The Thrawn Trilogy” - which is not, as I have mistakenly believed, the same thing as The Hand of Thrawn Duology. Sigh.
