I have seen two Star Wars video essays by EckhartsLadder (We're still suffering from the Sequel's "World Building" and Why this battle was so damn weird) - not my favorites, but entertaining. If you don't know them yet, EckhartsLadder does interesting analysis of SW, especially when it comes to worldbuilding and military, if you're into that. (Spacedock is another I enjoy.)
Do you also watch SW related videos on YouTube? What kind? Reviews, analyses, fanvids,...?

I like to make playlists for stories I write to figure out the mood I'm going for; I listened to a few of them today, all for Star Wars fics, and now I'm in the mood to pick up two of those stories again. I like when that happens!

I'm wondering what my next Star Wars canon/Legends media will be. Aside from the random fanfiction binge, mostly from my collection, I haven't read/watched anything for a long while. I'm aaaaalmost feeling like picking something up, though. Maybe something from the book or comic TBRs... but shhh, lets not frighten my motivation, or it'll disappear to parts unknown again XD

Somewhat random: do you remember ever seeing a protagonist play a musical instrument in a Star Wars story? I don't. Maybe in some of the many many EU media I haven't read... Rogue Squadron would be a series where I'd expect it, actually - some scene showing the pilots' free time activities, perhaps.
It's interesting, what makes it into big canons like SW, and what doesn't.

I'm currently playing taggle, a Battleship-like multifandom exchange/game, and I've already written one Star Wars fic I feel pretty good about 👀
Also! The prompt collection is open to non-participants too, so if you have some ships or "what if"s you'd like to see written or illustrated, this is a very good opportunity! They might not get picked up of course, but the players need to create a lot of works, often for weird combos of tags. The odds are not going to get much higher!

It's officially summer: last night I went to sleep hours after my usual bedtime because I was canning cherries. "fruit and Star Wars" makes me think of The Pear Scene, obviously, which I would rather not.
"summer and Star Wars"... honestly? Kit Fisto, for some reason. Is it the water? Probably the water. OH, and the TCW version of Quinlan Vos, who really, really reminds me of a surfer dude. Hmm, Beach AU...

We need to talk about Aunt Beru's roses.
As the SW lore developed, Tatooine has turned into a near-caricature Death World, and it's not like it isn't there in the first movie either. (They farm water!) And yet: because, I assume, nobody was going to tell the owners of the house in Tétouan that they chop down their plants, the farmstead on a planet so horribly hot that it sometimes sounds ridiculous is... pleasantly green, actually.
Gosh, I love it when Star Wars is being silly.

Inspired by nothing in particular: one of the UFOs (Un-Finished Objects) in my craft stash is these Rebel Alliance Wrist Warmers. I'm maybe a third through the first one and it already looks lovely, but since it's my first ever colorwork it's taking forever. I do most of my knitting as a fidget, either during work meetings or when visiting family, so projects where I have to focus a lot aren't a great fit. Still, I like them. Maybe I'll get them done by winter.
Have you ever tried any Star Wars related crafts?

I've spent the last 2 hours cleaning and I'm so done. Do you think people in GFFA have to do their own vacuuming? You'd think they'd have droids for that... then again. I'm (very gently) getting back into writing by starting a daily writing habit, and today I worked on the last ficlet in a ficlet series I started in 2021, Sister, daughter. 2021!Me thought that if it's a series, it isn't really a WIP and I won't feel bad if I take a long time finishing it, or abandon it altogether. 2021!Me was very naïve.
