Chat corner 17: Revenge of the Sith

Optional chat prompt

If you don’t have your own topic to talk about, the optional prompt for this week is the movie “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith”, AKA the most depressing one.

I think that means we’ve covered all of the Prequel Trilogy now, so maybe a secondary prompt (subprompt?) might be the trilogy as a whole, if you have any Thoughts On The Matter.

Say what you will about GL’s script writing but some quotes are iconic!

Is it overall tragic? Yes, but also epic!

He does have a knack for creating memorable moments, doesn't he? It's all over the place - one moment I cringe at wooden dialog, the next there's something that makes me go "ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh".

Yup! At least at the end of RotS, GL sets up the OT. And mostly the PT and OT are symmetrical, or it’s very easy to draw parallels between the two trilogies.
