Things like "The Thrawn Trilogy" vs "Hand of Thrawn Duology" is why I am so paranoid about mixing up media titles. =_= WHY CAN'T YOU HAVE MORE UNIQUE TITLES YOU DINGBATS.

On the other hand, it reminds me of my days of reading Marvel/DC and my endless confusion about which run of Wonder Woman/Blue Beetle/Spider-man/whatever is which. Ahhhh, the memories...

Awww well, to be fair, all five books were written by the same author. Really, it’s just a continuation of the story. Though maybe it’s a bit early for me to say that because I havent’ finished the “Hand of Thrawn Duology” yet.

Point, and I have the suspicion that with the first three, Zahn never really thought about a title for the whole trilogy so they just went "oh, there's Thrawn... so it's the Thrawn trilogy"

STILL. I was confused and I don't like it *pouts*

Those books? Will always be the Mara Jade Trilogy to me, because I love Mara and I loathe Thrawn. (Also, I will go to my grave insisting that Rey's mother is basically a Mara Jade expy: Force-sensitive operative hand-picked by the Emperor and trained/brainwashed by him until she broke the conditioning, except that in this case it was Palpatine's son she fell in love with and not Vader's, lol.)

I don't mind Thrawn, but I'm not as in love with him as so many fans are. IDK, genius tacticians just don't do it for me.

From the new characters introduced in the trilogy, Mara is definitely my favorite.
