Hi,

welcome to the weekly Star Wars chat post. Standard rules: anything SW goes, self-recs are welcome, and any other recs as well of course.

~ ~ ~

You know, I only just realized that the no-topic SW chat posts have actually slowly mutated into "random thought topic" through these post-scripts. Oops? Is that bad? I remember someone saying (way, way back) that they don't feel comfortable talking about their own stuff if there's a topic. But I just always feel like a single-sentence post, "here ya go, do your thing, I'm off" must be so boring? I feel better when I'm adding something at least vaguely readable.

So, you know what, just treat the second half of these posts as if it was one of the comments. No-topic chat, with a bonus random Crow ramble.

I wouldn't be the person given that I find it helpful to have a prompt (and if I can't find anything to say to it, I'll just contribute anything else that might be SW adjacent!)

As it happens, I don't really have anything new SW wise to discuss, though I am wondering what hurdle a new SW show might have to leap to get more than a season's renewal. Both the existing SW shows as well as those from the MCU have not done well in this respect.

I bring up the MCU given the shared parent company, and because it has had two shows starting up this past month. Apparently Wonder Man just announced a second season (which I found surprising) and Daredevil is back for its second.

We're still expecting a second season of Ahsoka, right? But is anything else planned?
