Bad jokes aside, what's your relationship to SW-related news? As in, how do you find out that Disney is Doing Something Star Wars - a new book is coming out, a new movie/show is announced...? Do you actively follow some sources? Do you learn about it on social media, or from a more well-informed friend? Or maybe you don't hear about it at all?

I don't tend to hear about it. I don't follow any sources of entertainment news, but I am likely to hear something here or on tv_talk. Or I might just get surprised by it when I log into Disney+ (that's particularly been the case with the LEGO adaptations).

I generally prefer it this way as I don't want to be spoiled, or even prejudiced by opinions since I am likely to watch a TV show/film no matter what. There's not THAT much content that I wouldn't catch up on it. (I am not averse to reading books but have generally not done so since they're not easily available via a library).

Someone I follow on Tumblr used to be how I got all my SW news, but they're now mainly invested in other fandoms, so now it's mostly via a SW Discord I belong to. Even then, I used to sometimes be surprised by new High Republic books despite following that series from the beginning. So it's mostly come down to word of mouth.

Back in the day, TheForce.Net was the hub for SW news, so I was pleased to discover it was still up, though it looks radically different from what I recall.

Mostly I find out things through social media, with someone posting an article or something that inspires me to look something up.
