Hi!
The topic this week is the "HoloNet News podcast", which was created in 2008 to tie in with the 3D animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
I haven't given it much time, but this might actually be lost to time already: both the original site and the iTunes feed mentioned on Wookieepedia are gone.
I suspect nobody here has listened to it, but...maybe? Or, would you be interested?
Since this is such a niche topic, feel free to talk about anything related to Star Wars and podcasts. Do you listen to some? Do you have recommendations?

I have a friend who is really into the "Campaign" podcast, but I don't know much about it personally.

They're working hard to complete Rebels in time for season two. The real pleasure is that they're almost entirely unspoiled for everything they watch. I don't agree on all of their takes but the conversation is great.

Date: 2025-04-01 05:17 am (UTC)One thing I find interesting about this and the AOTC tie-in site that was basically just “CNN.com, but Star Wars” is that they’re parodying news formats that aren’t quite as dominant today – which makes me wonder what a contemporary Star Wars news tie-in would look like. An hour-long podcast hosted by Max Rebo? HoloNet News push notifications?
