Chat corner 167: Vacation

Welcome to the Monday chat corner!

For this week's general theme, lets do "vacation". Some ideas:

• Which SW character really needs a vacation? (And what should they do?)
• If you were to pick a place to take a vacation at in GFFA, where would you go?
• Headcanon time! What was your favorite character's (or OC's, or player character's) worst vacation? What did it look like?

Alternatively, what kind of vacation-related prompts would you make? (Prompts are always fun.)

Lazy topic choice? Of course not. Also, I'm sorry for the missing Free Friday post - I don't have a good excuse, I just plain forgot.

• needs a vacation: oh my god, everybody?! But I'll go with the obvious, Anakin Skywalker in Ep III. There's a reason most modern armies cycle soldiers between more/less exposed postings. (And lets be real, that boy had issues even before the war.)
• GFFA vacation goal: hmmmmmmmm. You know what, Jedha City. Pre-blow-up, obviously. I like museums and old places, and I bet it would be super interesting to explore. The only downside is the cold, but I think I could take it for a week or two.
• Favorite character's worst vacation: my SWTOR Sith Warrior Moriddyn once went on a trip with a couple of fellow Sith Acolytes. He hated them, he hated the place, it was actually a test and they were supposed to kill each other, Moriddyn got kicked out of a bar and the lodgings and had to wait 6 hours for his flight back to Korriban. He's never going on a vacation ever again.

I like the topic choice! Honestly given how little anyone seems to sleep, forget vacation -- they just need to be unconscious for 8 hours!

I'm not sure anything would be a restful vacation -- so many locations seem to be extremes and bad things are always happening 😉 However Naboo seems a nice place.

Re: prompts, I'd find it amusing to see what vacation activities various characters would engage in.

Naboo is a solid choice, I bet it would be nice for some leisurely hiking and sight-seeing.

"vacation activities" -- that's a good one! Whether they'd choose something relaxing or something stimulating, if a ship would have compatible interests, be able to compromise, or if a shared vacation would be a disaster...
