Chat corner 143: Team ups

Welcome to the Monday chat corner! (On a Tuesday! But we're not talking about that!)

This week, the topic is team ups - two or more characters working together. Do you have a favorite canon team, whether current or Legends? A favorite AU team from a fanfic? A team up you've never seen yet but think would be cool (or amusingly disasterous?) Or perhaps, a character or team from a different canon who should team up with someone from GFFA?

So many!

In light of a recent trailer, I would love to see Asajj Ventress and Quinlan Vos together (they teamed up in the Dark Disciple novel but never in a visual medium).

In the same vein, since we know Quinlan traveled the Hidden Path I would love to see him team up with Cal Kestis and train Cal in psychometry (and managing the dark side) in the next installment of the Fallen Order video games. Now I wonder if there's already a fic, it seems logical...

One of the ship names for Luke Skywalker/Mara Jade on Tumblr is "a pretty good team", taken from a quote from one of the Zahn books. They're definitely my favorite team, anyway!

The Kenobi-Skywalker team is fun to watch because of the bickering. Chopper and BB8 would be fun for similar reasons. Would love to see Padme and Leia team doing political wrangling.

Favourite canon team-up: Hard to pick just one, but I have a soft spot for Padmé, Mon Mothma, Bail, et al coming together in the ROTS deleted scenes to kick off the resistance against Palpatine.

Crossover team-up I’d like to see: I feel like TCW-era Obi-Wan and TNG-era Jean-Luc Picard would do an excellent job handling a diplomatic mission together, and would forge a warm (and slightly snobby) friendship.
