I've recently learned about a new Star Wars DW community! starwars100, for writing and sharing SW drabbles. They promise weekly prompts, and there's already a few drabbles posted too.

I've been going through family photos and came across this one I thought I'd share. My then 9 year old son with Peter Mayhew, Dave Prowse, Jeremy Bulloch and Kenny Baker. So sad to think they are all dead now. This was during their first 'Men Behind the Masks' tour, I think. I have others but none as cute as this one.

In case anyone was curious about the SW movie from David Benioff and Dan Weiss (the Game of Thrones guys) that never ended up happening, it was apparently going to be a story about the origins of the Jedi.

I’m a bit sceptical about how this particular project would have turned out, but I do sort of think that – given a generous budget and creative freedom – it would be fun to see a non-canon anthology series à la Visions from some of the would-be SW moviemakers.
