The first Monday chat corner falls on January 1st and I don't have the brains to go fishing for a proper by-the-schedule topic. Thus: if you're here and want to chat, what Star Wars thing(s) have you most enjoyed in 2023 and what are you looking forward to in 2024?

Most enjoyed: It’s hard to pick one thing, but I really loved “Screecher’s Reach” from Visions S2 and thought it managed to be both an effective horror story and a solid SW story. Honourable mention to the last few episodes of TBB S2.

Fandom-wise, I stumbled on this community and it’s been absolutely lovely chatting about SW with nice friendly people. :)

Looking forward to: Fic-wise, my tiny SW rarepair now has a tag on AO3 for me to bookmark and check every so often, so that’s fun! Canon-wise, I’ve already blathered on about S3 of TBB, but we’re apparently also getting a second season of Tales of the Jedi this year, which I’m feeling cautiously excited about.

happy new year!!

i think the things i've most enjoyed in 2023 have been the things that have made me new fandom friends. hilariously, one of the events isn't even until march, but the discord server for it has been so lovely and full of delightful people.

and idk if i'd say i enjoyed it, but i do appreciate all the new tv things that came out this year. i love that we got an ahsoka show, that tbb is still going even with its ups and downs, and that we're still getting new content.

i think the things i'm looking forward to the most are actually finishing some of my wips for once, waxer*boil month, and actually the last season of tbb! i'm trying not to get my hopes up for too much but i want to see my boy rex again before the end and hopefully see some commandos.
