Which Star Wars character do you think most needs a hug and why?

Ben Solo, hands down. He's the product of a thoroughly messed-up family legacy and all he gets for it is atonement-equals-death. (I could easily break the comment limit on this topic, but the short short version is that I think he's the logical product of Han, Luke, and Leia trying to co-parent a kid in the immediate aftermath of the OT, and no, it's not pretty. He needs all the hugs.)

I’d give a hug to Leia because she lost her adopted family and her home planet that she represented in the senate.

My vote goes to Omega: raised in a creepy laboratory by the galaxy's least ethical scientists, and her childhood goes downhill from there.

Honourable mention: Darth Vader. Not sure if he's the hugging type, though...

Maul. He was raised by Palpatine and then spent 11 years rotting in a trash cave on a trash planet. Now, he'd probably not appreciate it, and would probably try to bite out your throat, but he definitely needs a hug.

Parody and satire in the GFFA

For some reason today, I was reminded of the movie "Spaceballs" and I had the idea of something like Spaceballs as an in-universe political satire somewhere in the GFFA, which in turn got me thinking about the idea of political satire in the GFFA in general. I'm sure the Rebellion had plenty of that going around about Palpatine (and, um, depending on what sorts of salaciously insulting speculations the Rebels got up to about, say, the nature of Palpatine and Vader's relationship, I'm now imagining that at some point after ROTJ, Luke and Leia would look at each other like, "...that's our bio-father. Oh, no.")

But anyway, political satire in the GFFA! Anyone else have any ideas for or about it? Because on the one hand there's Star Wars parodies repurposed as in-universe satire, on the other there's political satire in our universe that could have parallels in the GFFA. (Given that George Lucas has said that Richard Nixon was his inspiration for Palpatine, I'm now tempted to spend this weekend digging up Watergate-and-Pentagon-papers-era political cartoons....)

Spaceballs! A classic Star Wars parody!

Ngl it would be cool if there were two parody movies of the prequels and the Disney trilogy.

I remember reading this one fanfic on ff.net, which was a multichaptered time-travel fic where Luke and Leia go back in time to save/redeem Anakin, which led to a new timeline with familiar events playing out.
