It's actually pretty funny! It resembles an anthology movie in some way, with several excursions into musical performances delivered via "oh look, there's something on the holovision!", a cooking show parody, an animated segment, and Jefferson Starship. Also the main characters of the frame story are Wookiees, the first fifteen(?) minutes of the movie are entirely in wookiee noises, and there's an amazingly touching sequence when the Imperials come to search the Wookiee house. It's weird and trippy in places, but I do not regret watching it.

finally get a break this holiday to watch this! I mean Life Day is pretty awesome holiday so I'm glad it exists even if this turns out to be terrible.

I mean their doing a pretty good job selling the story in nothing but unsubtitled wookie noises.

Thoughts/questions? Is Chewie's son older then Han? if Yoda's species is aging at the rate where at 50 they're still in early toddler stages of development and Wookies are also very long lived is this mid childhood stage of development for them like 50?

this circus thing is actually pretty fun.

Mark is wearing so much make up. He doesn't even look like himself. It's possibly a worse uncanny valley then fake!Luke from the Mandolorian. Why aren't he's cheeks moving? Why are his eyes so big? What's wrong with his FACE!

The guy with the shop and the imperial guard was a pretty good moment of like "life under the empire" for a dumb little skit

Also I should add I appreciate that didn't make female wookies sexy. Mala looks like a regular wookie!

It was just supposed to be funny but I like that having 4 arms changes how food is prepared.

I feel like I should have had some weed before watching this kaleidoscope thing. ok this feels like a weird sex thing now. the costume is pretty though.

Carrie is also wearing SO MUCH MAKE UP! why are they all wearing so much make up!

I think I ought to be high for this Jefferson Starship part too.
