My main impression of Acolyte is still how everyone kept talking about it being a romance show for the Reylos, but the actual show having almost no romance at all (and certainly zero chemistry between the "main ship"). What have I watched?
I really don't regret it being cancelled, but it does feel like its lack of success (real or perceived by the execs) has killed any chance of more shows set in the High Republic era, and that I do regret. I liked how fresh it felt.
