Mind you, I've done no poking around so it's just my impression. And it's not that there aren't ship focused time travel stories, I've read a few of those as well. I guess it's more that there are a number of long gen stories, and if time travel is more the purpose of the plot rather than a plot device for a meeting, then chances are the story can't be wrapped up that quickly so they're longer? 🤷♀️
