This week's topic is the movie The Last Jedi, the second in part of the Sequel Trilogy.

What are your thoughts? Imagine you're making small talk and this movie comes up. What do you do? Jump right in? Pretend you're not there? Something in between?

Alternatively, a prompt: If you could write a letter to one character in this movie (protagonist, antagonist, side character, some complete rando from the background), what would you send them? Bonus, it's a paper letter and you can include anything in the envelope.

I have a bit of a soft spot for TLJ as it’s the first Star Wars film I happened to actually see in a theatre. Lots of people brought their kids. Holdo rams Snoke’s ship, the film goes dead silent, it’s all very dramatic … and then in the front row of the theatre, a tiny voice shrieks, “Yaaaay!”

Hahahaha I like this phrasing. I probably pretend I'm not there. If someone asks, I think Finn is very cute.

Oh, and R2! The "Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi" scene, and Luke's reaction, some people thought that was stupidly breaking the fourth wall but I enjoyed it.
