Chat corner 108: LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game

Welcome to the Monday chat corner!

This week’s topic is “LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game”, the 2005 computer/console game that brings the player into a brickworld version of the Prequel Trilogy, whose popularity spawned a series of other LEGO Star Wars games.

What do you think? Completely out of your range of interest? Fond memories of playing it as a child? Something you’d still recommend to a player in the 2020s?

Awww Lego Star Wars was fun! I remember playing the complete saga version (Ep. 1 to 6) on the Wii a long time ago lol

Oh I loved these games! They are very simple gameplay-wise, but still fun even to adults imo. They pay a lot of attention to detail, and having everything be lego makes it super cute.
Lego Vader is just adorable force-choking with his little lego hand<3

I would definitely still recommend it -- these were fun! In fact there's now a Skywalker trilogy set which pulls together all the SW LEGO releases. I started it soon after buying it last year...and then ran out of time to play it and have yet to get back to it.
