Chat corner 130: crime and punishment

Welcome to the Monday chat corner!

This week, our topic is “crime and punishment” - cops and robbers, police, criminal law, prisons, or anything similar. We’ve seen a lot across the various SW media, from criminal empires (multiple!) to prison planets (Kessel says hi), so I’m sure there’s enough to talk about.

Andor certainly provided a lot of focus on this. Even though our view of the Empire's side is more military intelligence than police investigations, the way that Cassian ended up in prison certainly gave us a clear view of how the civilian side was very tied into the Empire's military function.
